MSA Club of the Year 2001 What a way to end such an extraordinary year for Magherafelt and District Motor Club with the fantastic news that the Club is the UK Club of the Year. This is the first time a Club from Northern Ireland has won this prestigious award and indeed it is a great credit to all our members who have contributed so much to make this possible. The Club will be presented with a cheque for £1,000 and a replica trophy at the ANICC prize giving night in the Carngrove Hotel, Portadown on Monday 14th January 2002 commencing at 8 pm. All Club members are welcome to attend and if sufficient numbers intend going a mini-bus will be arranged to transport everyone. If you wish to attend please contact me on the above number or indicate at the next Club meeting, scheduled for Monday 7th January. Club Meeting - Monday 7th January & Dinner Dance 18th January A good turnout is requested at this meeting as a number of important issues have to be discussed in relation to our fixtures and planning for 2002. Also all dinner dance tickets and returns will be collected at this meeting as numbers are limited and surplus tickets are needed as a waiting list exists already. AGM Thursday 24th January The Club's annual AGM will be held in Mary's Bar, Magherafelt at 8 pm sharp on 24th January. It is vitally important that you make every effort to attend, as Club Membership is now due. In order to guarantee an entry in any Club event in 2002 it is compulsory that you attend the AGM of the Club in Mary's Bar Magherafelt. The club will also be participating in the Marshalling To Compete Scheme in 2002, as the same manpower problems will exist as would have done in 2001.
